Terms of use

Last updated: June 5, 2026

What this is

Context Hacker is a tool for managing personal and project context you bring to AI conversations. It's currently in beta, run by Warpspeed Technologies. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

We're a small team. We'll do our best to keep the service running, your data safe, and the product getting better — but the service is provided as-is during beta with no uptime guarantees.

Your AI provider keys

Context Hacker is bring-your-own-key. To chat inside the app you supply an API key from your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google). Your usage of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, not by us. We pass requests through and never store your keys — they live in your browser's local storage.

You're responsible for what your key is charged for and for your provider's acceptable-use policies. If we ever fund a server-side AI feature (e.g. the first-conversation onboarding demo), we'll disclose it explicitly and you can opt out.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, bypass row-level access controls, or interfere with the service's integrity.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from server components beyond what's publicly available.
  • Use the service to spam, scrape, or run automated traffic that isn't part of normal interactive use.
  • Misuse another person's API key or impersonate someone else.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If you spot abuse, email us.

Your content

You retain ownership of every module, conversation, fact, and context you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service to you — and only to you. We don't train AI models on your content. We don't share it. See the privacy policy for specifics on what we collect and what we don't.

Account and termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: all your modules, conversations, facts, and proposals are removed from our database.

We may close or suspend accounts that violate these terms, that remain inactive for extended periods, or if we discontinue the service. We'll give reasonable notice when possible.

Service availability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” During beta there are no uptime guarantees, no SLA, and no warranties — express or implied — about reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. AI provider responses are generated by third-party models and may be wrong, biased, or surprising. Verify anything important before acting on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Warpspeed Technologies and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months (which during beta is $0) or (b) one hundred US dollars.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If you don't, delete your account.
